Office of High Talented Students
One of the strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in recent years is to identify and train high talented students across the country. In this regard, the supreme council of the Cultural Revolution approved the general plan on utilization of high talented in 1996. Office of high talented at Bushehr University of Medical Sciences (BPUMS) was established in 2007 at medical education center and since then it has identified top and high talented students all over the university.
Our Goals
Creating a perfect platform to students to develop their talents and skills in:
1. Creativity and innovation in Medical Sciences
2. Using potential talents to expand the frontiers of medical science and interdisciplinary sciences
3. Leadership and management in comprehensive system of providing health and education services
Objective tasks
1. Performing basic and applied research on discovery methods and evaluating talented students
2. Identifying & organizing high talented students in terms of their field of study and admission year
3. Preparing required programs to discover and nurture talented students
4. Providing consultancy services and informing talented students in the approved programs context
5. Designing and implementation of assessment for talented students
6. Designing and implementation of training programs for talented students
7. Providing recreational facilities in order to create mental and psychological preparation in talented students
8. Providing easy use of university facilities to talented students
9. Preparing a database for the office of high talented members
10. Preparing fields of supporting high talented by providing specific solutions and internal coordination
11. Supporting and facilitating scientific and research projects proposed by talented students using internal and external resources
12. Supporting talented students by providing certain approaches and coordinating with internal and external sectors
13. Enabling scientific tours for the talented students
